From the Archive: Wally News

These are the first three issues of Wally News, a newspaper I founded in the third grade.
Over three years, 11 issues and 45 pages were published. I sold advertising, ran meetings, did layouts, communicated with our publisher, and trained editors. As the editor-in-chief, I trained my replacement and passed the position on upon graduating.
Although I was only 9 when I started the paper, I learned invaluable skills that I still carry with me.
